On Day 3 of the state meet, Juriad Hughes Jr. won two sprints against elite fields and took the long jump, too. Earlier, St. Peter's Corbin Herron drew cheers when he won a hurdles race, blew out a hamstring in a relay, then taped up and ran once more for pride.
