Eickson recently completed her senior year by competing in the shot put and discus at the Class 2A state meet.

The best movie I've seen in the last year? "The Hunger Games."

Three songs I never skip on my iPod are ... "Teach Me How To Dougie" by Cali Swag District; "Black and Yellow" by Wiz Khalifa; "Some Nights" by Fun.

Three words or phrases my friends or teammates might use to describe me? Gullible; good listener; nice.

At my first varsity practice, I felt ... scared because I was in seventh grade and was the youngest athlete, and everyone else was a lot bigger than me.

To get focused for a meet, I ... take a little nap and then goof around and have fun!

What were your goals entering the track season?

My goals were to throw 140 feet, 8 inches in the discus to beat my coach Lindsey Booth's high school record, over 40 feet in shot put and stay confident with myself. [She threw the discus 140-6 and the shot put 42-3 1/2 in the Class 3A, Section 1 True Team meet. Those were both season bests].

If you could change one thing about high school sports, what would it be? Some of the rules during competition.

Do you have a secret talent -- and if so, what is it? It's not really a talent, but apparently I'm really good at remembering other people's best throws for the shot and discus down to the inches, and I get made fun of about it all the time.

In 10 years, I hope I ... have a good job and have started a family.
